Requires iOS 18 or later. Apple Watch companion available.

Move from Nara in three steps

  1. Export from Nara. In the Nara app, open settings and export your data as a CSV file. Save it to Files or send it to yourself.
  2. Import into Kuma Baby. Open Kuma Baby, go to Account, tap Import CSV, and choose your Nara file.
  3. Review and confirm. Pick which child each Nara profile belongs to, check the preview, and tap Confirm import. Nothing is saved until you do.

The import keeps running if you switch apps, and it picks up where it stopped if iOS pauses it. Run the same file again later and Kuma Baby skips anything already imported, so you never get duplicates.

What comes over from Nara

  • Feeds: breastfeeds with left and right durations, bottle feeds with breast milk or formula amounts, and solids.
  • Diapers: wet, dirty, and mixed, with color and texture.
  • Sleep: naps and nights with start and end times.

Pumping, medical, vaccine, and routine records aren’t imported yet. The preview tells you how many were skipped before you confirm.

Why families are switching

  • Free core tracking, for good. Feed, diaper, and sleep logging, history editing, and caregiver sharing don’t sit behind a trial or a paywall.
  • Everyone in sync. Invite a partner, grandparent, or nanny so the latest feed and nap are always in front of whoever’s on duty.
  • Built for one baby or many. Made by parents of twins, with each child’s records kept separate.
  • Your records stay yours. Export them whenever you like.

SWITCHING QUESTIONS

Before you switch.

Something else on your mind? Ask us.

Is Kuma Baby really free?

Yes. Core feed, diaper, and sleep logging, history editing, and caregiver participation are free, with no trial and no subscription, and they’ll stay free.

Will I lose my Nara history?

No. Export a CSV from Nara and import it into Kuma Baby. Your feeds, diapers, and sleep come over with their original dates and times, and you review everything before it’s saved.

Do I have to stop using Nara first?

No. Export whenever you’re ready. If you keep logging in Nara for a few days, export again and import the new file; records you already brought over are skipped.

Can my partner and caregivers switch too?

Yes. Import once, then invite everyone who helps care for your baby. They see the same history and can log from their own phones, free.
